5:30: The Chardonnay Spectrum Tasting
Learn the in’s and out’s on Chardonnay with winemaker Fintan du Fresne from Chamisal Vineyards.  Fintan will be presenting a stylistic flight of Chardonnay and barrel samples of Chardonnay. He will be educating guests and highlighting unique and different ways on how to treat and age this traditional variety, along with showcasing the different styles and unifying characteristics found in San Luis Obispo’s coastal wine region, Edna Valley.
6:30:  Go Coastal! Identifying Cool Climate Characteristics in San Luis Obispo Coast Wines
Coastal influence is what distinguishes San Luis Obispo and the Edna Valley from other growing regions.  Winemaker Jean-Pierre Wolff from Wolff Vineyards will demonstrate and describe flavor profiles found in some of Edna Valley's alternative reds, such as Petite Sirah, Syrah and Teroldego.  From bright tannins to earth and spice, you will learn about the different flavor profiles found in cool climate Rhone varieties.
