This is one street party you don't want to miss!

Live Barrel Toasting Demonstration

Tonnellerie-O is proud to participate in this year's Roll Out The Barrel's event with a unique demonstration of the art of the barrel.  Barrel Build and Toasting Demonstration Expert cooper Salvador Canchola will show the audience the timeless craft of building, shaping, and toasting a barrel using 3-year seasoned oak sustainably harvested from national forests in northern France. Salvador will also be available to answer questions regarding the details of barrel construction and oak sourcing during this rare and fascinating look at the creation of one of the most important components of great winemaking.

6:00: Tasting and Toasting Seminar
Attendees will enjoy an in-depth comparative tasting of the effects of oak in wine, lead by Winemaker Patrick Muran of Niner Wine Estates and Cole White of Tonnellerie-O.

It is the oldest, anti-chemical agricultural movement that predates the creation of organic farming by about twenty years.
