When traveling to SLO Wine Country, consider taking Amtrak for part or all of your journey. Amtrak trains stop at the historic Railroad Square in San Luis Obispo, just blocks from downtown. From the south, Amtrak’s Coast Starlight is a particularly memorable route that runs along the picturesque Pacific coastline.
SLO Wine Country is also easily accessible by air, with commercial flights landing at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport just a few miles from numerous vineyards and tasting rooms.
